Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band - Sweet Soul Music (Live at Madison Square Garden 11/08/09)

A song that hadn’t regularly played since the Tunnel of Love Express Tour in 1988, Bruce gets an audience request for Sweet Soul Music after playing the entire The River album, and of course, the legendary E Street band is not stumped by this, and once again shows why they are one of the greatest bands ever, playing the song perfectly with minimal preparation.

Bruce Springsteen and the Other Band - Tenth Avenue Freeze Out (Live from Continental Airlines 06/24/93)

Another one of my personal favorite performances of this song.

With no expectations of any E Street band, Bruce brings out Steve Van Zandt for Glory Days, and then brings out Clarence Clemons halfway through the song…well…because THE BIG MAN JOINED THE BAND

Also, at 2:59, the greatest high five ever occurs between Bruce and Clarence.

Clarence would also play on the next song, Born to Run, as well as Van Zandt.

Get better Clarence!
